Community Importance. What do I mean by this? What I mean is the importance of recognizing our Community and their needs. Communities prosper when there is a sense of unity with society. The feeling of being separated isn't so uncommon, unfortunately. The people of the past, and still ongoing, are fighting for their right to live and be a part of the community. Whether it is race, gender, or political views, everyone wants to feel cared for and safe. Even in the modern society, there are still so many issues we are dealing with in our every day lives. I hear all these big time corporations through advertisements saying they care about the community, but I have never seen a supermarket at every persons' front door who could not afford clothing, food, or life essentials. Being selective is nice, but those corporations are setting the way in YOUR community how they perceive is right. They need to do more. Our government needs to BE more. The following are just simple ways to recognize your community which will lead to a healthier society:

1. Bring the community together. Understand their needs. Really get to know your community and how you could benefit them. How can this place be healthier and more stable? Does everyone have a job? Does this community have access to HEALTHY FOODS? Are there activities for everyone to be involved in? How does the community feel about their local government/law enforcement? Those are just some sample questions. There are many different methods to reach out to your community. Ensure your method will not offend anyone. Think of them, not yourself.

2. Cooperation is key. No one, and I mean no one, will assist in the community becoming a better place if there is no cooperation. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Understand their needs, and come up with ideas after fully understanding theirs. Gather community leaders in each section that would be a good fit for enacting ideas that YOU and THE COMMUNITY have agreed on.

Why is community important?

Their is no power greater than those who combine their strengths to form ideas for a better future.
